Ghaziabad cop suspended over blue movie sting operation

Lucknow, Nov 17 (UNI) The olice station in-charge of Vijay Nagar in Ghaziabad, was today suspended and transferred to Bulandshehar over his alleged involvement in a blue movie.

Deputy Inspector General of Police (Meerut range) P V Ramashatri initiated the suspension action against Afal Singh after founding him in a compromising condition with a woman a blue film, Additional Director General of Police (ADG), Law and Order, Brij Lal said.

The probe into the matter has been handed over to the Superintendent of Police (city) of Ghaziabad, Mr Lal added.

Few months back, Singh had arrested a woman on charges of robbing steel rods. However, in order to take revenge with the cop, the woman had conducted a sting upon him and circulated the CD of the same into the media.
