Congress workers urged to become active
Hubli, Nov 17 (UNI) With no signs of a recovery after its debacle in the Assembly elections during May last the Congress state leadership today gave a call to all workers to be active and warned that there is no place for those who are inactive.
Addressing the workers here today, KPCC president R V Deshpande said that the century long party which has maintained the high tradition made constructive contributions to develop the nation.
Now there is dire need to rejuvenate the rich tradition of the party by hard work.
He cautioned that it is not possible to build the party by mere criticizing the other parties. The inner strength of the party should be built. The main of the party is to establish its existence through gaining power in the state he said.
Former president Mallikarjun Kharge said that there is a need to introspect on the failure aspect of the party and should raise voice for unity.
Former Chief Minister Dharm Singh, H.K.Patil, Working president of State Congress unit Mr. D. K.Shivkumar and several other leaders also e expressed their solidarity with the party and came down heavily on the functioning of BJP Government.
