Cong MLA admitted to Escorts after minor heart attack
New Delhi, Nov 17 (UNI) Congress MLA and party's nominee from the Seelampur Assembly seat in the coming assembly polls Mateen Ahmed was this evening admitted to the Escorts hospital after he suffered a minor heart attack, family sources said.
Ch Mateen Ahmed, a resident of New Seelampur, was this morning admitted to a private nursing home in East Delhi after he complained of chest pain and uneasiness late last night.
Doctors at the private nursing home, however, advised him to go to Escorts for treatment.
He was shifted to the Escorts hospital in the evening where his condition is stable, the sources said, adding, the Congress leader is likely to be discharged by tomorrow morning.
Ch Mateen Ahmed has been renominated by the Congress from the Seelampur assembly seat from where he is the sitting MLA.
