BJP to announce LS candidates after Dec 8: Manchanda
Ambala, Nov 17 (UNI) Formal announcement of Bharatiya Janata Party candidates for Lok Sabha election in Haryana would be made after December 8, Haryana BJP Unit president Atam Prakash Manchanda said here today.
While interacting with media here, Mr Manchanda, however, refused to make any comment on the ratio of seat allotment between his party and alliance partner Indian National Lok Dal.
Mr Manchanda criticised the Congress for ''blowing the issue of Malegaon bomb blast with involvement of sadhvi Pragya Tahkur out of proportion to cash it for the coming elections''.
He charged that investigations made by ATS were not ''objective and were being twisted against the facts and evidences''.
Mr Manchanda also criticised Haryana government headed by chief minister Bhupinder Hooda for its anti-farmer policy saying that it had failed to procure their produce on time, had not ensured timely supply of fertilisers and had not paid remunerative price for sugarcane growers.
He also alleged that during the much-publicised BPL survey, for welfare aschemes, deserving families had been deleted and in their place rich were included.
