Automotive Axles to shut down operations for week in Nov and Dec

New Delhi, Nov 17 (UNI) Owing to a steep fall in demand, Automotive Axles Ltd today said it has decided to shut down operations for at least a week during the months of November and December, 2008.

The Commercial Vehicle Market is witnessing a steep fall in the demand, which has driven the Company's OE customers to resort to shut down and lay offs. This is compelling the company to moderate the production for next two months, it said in a statement.
