50 cartons of illicit liquor seized

New Delhi, Nov 17 (UNI) Continuing its drive against hoarding of illicit liquor in view of the forthcoming Assembly elections here, the Delhi Police have seized 50 cartons of illicit liquor and arrested a bootlegger in this connection.

Dharam Nath Seth was arrested by South district police from Sabzi Mandi on November 15, while transporting 50 cartons of illicit liquor in his Santro car.

The accused disclosed that the consignment of illicit liquor was meant for hoarding before the Assembly elections to be sold at higher profits during the elections.
