Naidu urges cong not to politicise Malegaon blasts

Raipur, Nov 16 (UNI) Senior BJP leader M Venkaiah Naidu has urged the Congress not to politicise the Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur episode and alleged that a conspiracy was being hatched to malign the Hindus.

'' The Congress is raising the Sadhvi issue time and again on the eve of elections and the party did the same trick in previous elections too'', Mr Naidu said here yesterday.

He said the alleged involvement of Sadhvi in the Malegaon blasts had turned into a national issue and the people would reply to this 'conspiracy' through ballots.

Mr Naidu said it seemed the BJP would retain power in the state considering the way people took part in the polling for the first phase of elections in Chhattisgarh.
