15 women injured in a road mishap

Kolhapur, Nov 16 (UNI) Fifteen women of a self help group were injured when their tempo turned turtle near Hupati town in the district today.

According to police, the mishap occurred, when the tempo driver lost control over the vehicle after the breaks failed. The victims were on their way to Kolhapur to attend a function on women self help group.

Eight of the injured have been admitted to the civil hospital here, while others were rushed to private hospitals, where the condition of of two of them was stated to be serious. police added.
