Hyderabad, Nov 15 (UNI) Lok Satta party today demanded constitution of a special court to go into the allegations of both Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy and Opposition Leader N Chandrababu Naidu, who had accused each other of amassing crores of rupees by abusing power.

Addressing media here, Lok Satta party spokesmen Katari Srinivasa Rao and B Krishna Reddy welcomed the TDP's announcement that if elected to power, it would confiscate the wealth acquired by Congress leaders through corrupt means in the last four and a half years and utilise it for people's welfare.

They demanded that enquiry should cover the previous Chandrababu Naidu's regime also and if the allegations were correct, their ill-gotten properties should be confiscated by the state.

In cases of corruption against people's representatives, the law should be amended, making the accused responsible for proving his or her innocence, they said.
