Legal luminaries greet Js. Iyer on 94th birthday
Kochi, Nov 15 (UNI) A host of legal luminaries, including Kerala High Court Chief Justice H L Dattu and former Attorney General Soli Sorabjee, today wished noted jurist V R Krihna Iyer on the occasion of his 94th birthday.
Chief Justice Dattu and Mr Sorabjee visited 'Satgamaya', the house of Justice (Retd.) Krishna Iyer and wished him many more years of active life.
Former Acting Chief Justice of Kerala High Court Justice K Narayana Kurup and FACT CMD George Sleeba were also among the host of well wishers who visited Justice Iyer.
Belying his 94 years, Justice Krishna Iyer had a packed day today, including the 4th Law Lecture organised by the V R Krishna Iyer National Foundation for Law and Social Justice and a function organised by the Indian Association of Lawyers, Kerala committee, to mark his birthday.
In the morning, Justice Krishan Iyer participated through video conferencing in the National Conference on Free Software 2008, organised by the Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT).
