Legal luminaries greet former Justice Iyer on 94th birthday
Kochi, Nov 15 (UNI) A host of legal luminaries, including Kerala High Court Chief Justice H L Dattu and former Attorney-General Soli Sorabjee, today wished noted jurist V R Krishna Iyer on the occasion of his 94th birthday.
Chief Justice Dattu and Mr Sorabjee visited 'Satgamaya.' the house of Justice (retd) Iyer and wished him many more years of active life.
Former Acting Chief Justice of Kerala High Court Justice K Narayana Kurup and FACT CMD George Sleeba were also among the host of well-wishers who visited the former Justice.
Belying his 94 years, Justice (retd) Iyer had a packed day today, including the Fourth Law Lecture organised by the V R Krishna Iyer National Foundation for Law and Social Justice and a function organised by the Indian Association of Lawyers, Kerala chapter, to mark his birthday.
In the morning, Justice (retd) Iyer participated through video conferencing in the National Conference on Free Software-2008, organised by the Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT).
