Ex Eng, Contractor nabbed in bribery case

Hisar, Nov 15 (UNI) The vigilance team arrested an executive engineer of irrigation department red handed while accepting bribe from a contractor here.

The other contractor, Natha Ram, who was involved in the case, was also arrested.

The complainant, contrctor Satyawan, had informed SP Vigilance Pat Ram that Ajay Kumar Garg was demanding Rs 15,000 to approve his work-payment of Rs 2 lakh.

The vigilance team laid the trap and nabbed the two with the money accepted by them.
