Bhopal, Nov 15: The Congress has urged the Election Commission for immediate removal of Madhya Pradesh Chief Information Commissioner P P Tiwari till completion of the election process for allegedly using the government phones to canvass support for his son Sarvendu Tiwari, who is pitted in the Assembly election as Gondwana Gantantra Party candidate in Churhat constituency against Congress nominee Ajay Singh.

In a complaint to the Election Commission, Congress spokesman J P Dhanopia said Mr Tiwari was canvassing openly for his son by using the official mobile and landline phones.
