Call center set up for election-related queries, complaints
New Delhi, Nov 15 (UNI) A Call Center to enable the general public to make any election-related queries or complaints was today set up by the Delhi Chief Electoral Officer today.
The call center which will operate from the CEO's office in Kashmere Gate office will be operational from 1000 hrs to 2200 hrs.
It will provide information regarding voter lists, details of polling stations where one can go to cast his/her vote and give details of VRECs where one can go for registration related query, said Delhi CEO Satbir Silas Bedi, after its inauguration.
The call center will also have a Grievance Recording system, she said.
The election department has hired a professional private agency for this service. All electors/citizens can obtain information through call center on "011-47617500 AIRTEL number.
The normal telephone charges have to be borne by the caller.
The call center will remain functional till December 15.
