Kerala: Award for G Madhavan Nair

Thrissur, Nov 15: Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) Chairman G Madhavan Nair has been selected for this year's Muhammed Abdu Rahiman Sahib Foundation National Award for his contributions to the field of science and technology, especially the 'Chandrayaan-1' moon mission.

The award consists of a sculpture, citation and a shawl.

It will be presented to Dr Nair by Chief Justice of India K G Balakrishnan at a function on December 20, judging committee chairman K A Radhakrishnan and Foundation general secretary Abdu Rahiman Kadppooru said at a news conference here yesterday.
