Auto assn.observe fast against killing of Lankan Tamils
Puducherry, Nov 15(UNI) The Autorickshaw Drivers Association here today observed a fast to condemn the killing of innocent Tamils in Sri Lanka.
The sources said the fast near the Venkatasubbareddiyar statue was also to press the Centre to stop the war in the Island Nation.
Meanwhile, the Mahatma Gandhi Makkal Pani Iyyakkam volunteers covered their mouth with black clothes and observed a fast in front of the Ariyankuppam Commune Panchayat Office to press their demands.
