4 injured in grenade blast, arms ammunition recovered in Kashmir
Srinagar, Nov 15 (UNI) Four people were injured in a grenade blast while security forces busted a hideout and recovered arms and ammunition in the Kashmir valley overnight, a police spokesman said today.
He said militants hurled a hand grenade near a bus stand at Kupwara which exploded on the roadside causing injuries to four people. The injured were hospitalised.
He said state police and 2 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) conducted a search operation at Narbal on Srinagar-Gulmarg road following a tip off about the hideout.
During the operation a hideout was busted and a large cache of arms and ammunition, including one Light Machine Gun (LMG), two AK magazines, five detonators, 113 rounds of AK ammunition and one wireless set were recovered. However, no one was arrested, he said.
