3 terrorists sentenced for 5 years imprisonment

Jalandhar, Nov 14: A fast track court today sentenced three terrorists to five-year imprisonment under Explosive Act.

Additional Session Judge Ravinder Singh also sentenced the three accused, Jaswinder Singh 24, Amolak Singh 53, and Paramjit Singh Dhadi alias Punjab Singh ,55, to one year's imprisonment under Arms Act.

They were were arrested last year with large quantity of RDX and weapons.

A case had been registered against the accused on December 12, 2006 when explosives including 11 Kilogram of RDX, 11 detonators, four hand grenades, two batteries, 11 timer devices, two pistols with four magazines and 100 cartridges, 10 meters of wire and one walkie-talkie set, were recovered from them.

Source said that Paramjit Singh Dhadi was A UK national and was living their since 1970.

He frequently visited Pakistan and was in connection with dreaded terrorists Lakhbir Singh Rode of International Sikh Youth Federation and Ranjit Singh Neeta of Khalistan Zindabad Force (KZF).

Jaswinder and Amolak Singh were relatives of Lakhbir Singh Rode.
