Rihanna scraps Indonesian gig over security fears
Washington, Nov 14 : Rihanna has cancelled a show in Indonesia over security concerns - just a day before she was set to take the stage.
The 'Umbrella' singer was scheduled to perform in front of a sold-out crowd in the Indonesian capital Jakarta on Nov 14, but cancelled the gig amid concerns about her safety.
The Bajan beauty's decision to axe the gig came in line with Aussie government's travel advisory issued on Nov 10, which warned its citizens to avoid Indonesia.
The warning was issued amid fears of revenge attacks after three Islamic militants were executed for their involvement in the 2002 Bali bombings.
However, event organisers are hopeful that the singer would return to the city in January (09), reports Contactmusic.
