President Patil condoles death of Ajit Panja

Kolkata, Nov 14 (UNI) President Pratibha Devisingh Patil today mourned the demise of former Union Minister Ajit Panja.

In a telephonic message from the Rashtrapati Bhawan, Ms Patil said, ''Besides his profession as a lawyer, he had many other interests.'' With his death, the nation had lost a veteran public figure, she said and conveyed her heartfelt condolence to the bereaved family.
