Pragya a victim of Cong appeasement: BJP
Guna, MP, Nov 14 (UNI) The Bharatiya Janata Party's Madhya Pradesh President Narendra Singh Tomar today alleged that Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur, who was arrested in connection with the Malegaon serial blasts, was a victim of the Congress' ''appeasement'' policy.
''A Hindu can never be a terrorist. Hindu organisations are being defamed. Due to policies of the Centre's Congress-led regime, Parliament attack convict Mohammad Afzal Guru is yet to be executed and that is making it appear that the Congress supports terrorism,'' he told mediapersons at this district's Chachoura.
Regarding the BJP's Guna candidate Gopilal Jatav's nomination papers being rejected on account of paying his deposit in another area, Mr Tomar said it was human to err. ''Our party has sent an application to the Election Commission and a decision is likely today,'' he explained.
