Porbandar Coast Guards evacuate heart patient from MV
Ahmedabad, Nov 14 (UNI) The Indian Coast Guard, Porbander team, evacuated a crew member, who suffered cardiac arrest, from Merchant Vessel ''Ocean Express'', on its way from Dubai to Alang in Gujarat.
The Maritime Rescue Sub Centre at Coast Guard Station, Porbandar, received a request to evacuate the patient - Mohammed Mujeeb (48), a resident of Hyderabad, from M/s J M Baxi&Company in the early hours yesterday, Defence sources informed here today.
The vessel was immediately directed to reach Porbander at the manimum speed. At around 0815 hrs, Mujeeb was disembarked and given medical care. His condition is stated to be stable, sources said.
