Poll officials abducted in Dantewara
Dantewara, CG, Nov 14 (UNI) Naxals today abducted four-five poll officials from Cheetlanar polling centre in Konta assembly segment in this district, police said.
Additional police force have been sent for searching the poll officials. The incident reportedly affected polling in the polling centre concerned.
Besides, naxals have looted electronic voting machines (EVMs) from Hadawada, Kidliras, Konta, Maruki, Bodpalli, Michnar, Bordem and Gorkha in Dantewara assembly segments and Hagua, Kudur and Turmel assembly segments in Bastar district.
