Over 205 enterprises taking part in Techmart
New Delhi, Nov 14 (UNI) More than 205 units from all over India, including 54 from the North East, are participating in 'Techmart India 2008', the 16th International Technology Fair.
The main attractions of the exhibition are special displays by the Central Wool Development Board (Jodhpur), women entrepreneurs and units belonging to the SC/ST category.
The fair is being organised by the National Small Industries Corporation Ltd (NSIC), under the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises.
This year, the NSIC has also provided special enclosure of 'Working Techmart', where stand-alone technologies for entrepreneurs are on display, such as the C-Brick making machine, interlocking machine, candle making machine, soya milk production, biscuit and cookies plant, hand - operated press, 'atta chaki', and nail-making and crimping machine, besides live cluster demonstration from the North East.
