NASSCOM to hold IT Women Leadership Summit from Nov 19

Bangalore, Nov 14 (UNI) NASSCOM, the premier trade body of the Indian IT industry, today announced that the third annual 'IT Women Leadership Summit 2008' would be held here on November 19 and 20.

The summit this year focuses on the theme 'Transforming Enterprises and Societies.' Against the background of the rapidly changing economic and societal global landscape, the summit would aim at evaluating the business imperative of having an inclusive workforce and the role of women leaders in successful organisations in an uncertain world, a NASSCOM release said.

The summit would also see the continuation of the corporate awards for excellence in gender inclusivity.

This year the summit would highlight the policies and best practices that would promote gender inclusivity in the IT-BPO workforce and the strategies for creating more women leaders.
