MP CM assures round-the-clock power
Bhopal, Nov 14 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan today said that a large quantum of electricity would be generated in the state over the next five years and farmers, industries and lower-rung consumers would be supplied round-the-clock power.
''Even in the past, the state government took several steps for improving the power sector,'' the Bharatiya Janata Party star campaigner said while addressing a poll meeting in Balaghat district's Katangi, as per a BJP release.
Lambasting the Centre's Congress-led regime, he said that its policies led to price rise, hoarding, insecurity and anarchy.
