Lucknow, Nov 14: On Friday, Nov 14 a low intensity bomb blast in the bathroom of the district judge court premises created panic in the Uttar Pradesh capital.

No one was injured in the blast, but the incident reminded of the serial bomb blasts which had rocked the court premises in Lucknow, Varanasi and Faizabad on November 23, 2007 in which 14 people were killed and over fifty injured. Additional Director General of Police (ADG), Law and Order, Brij Lal, however, downplayed today's incident and said it was just a mischievious act.

''It seems a high decibel cracker was thrown by someone,'' he added.

The search was on for the person who carried out the blast.
