kodgi assures to prepare development plan for Kodagu

Madikeri, Nov 14 (UNI) State Finance Commission Chairman A G Kodgi has said that he will soon prepare plan for the develoment of Kodagu district.

Kodgi held a meeting of district officials yesterday at Old Assembly hall and verified the facts detrimental to the development of the district and assured that he will prepare a suitable plan to recommend to government.

He said that the topography of Kodagu has its bad impact and a suitable plan has to be chalked out to improve the condition.

Kodgi observed that the local bodies are not delivering required results here and felt that shortage of staff is the main reason behind the failure.
