Kashmir valley plunged into darkness due to power failure
Srinagar, Nov 14 (UNI) The entire Kashmir valley was plunged into darkness today as the Power Development Department (PDD) failed to restore the power supply affected by snowfall.
The power supply to the entire valley snapped after transmission lines were damaged due to snowfall, first during this season.
The PDD, however, restored the power supply to some essential services and VIP areas.
The residents of almost entire Srinagar city, including Badshah Nagar Natipora, Rainawari and Dalgate, alleged that the PDD has failed to meet the challenge.
