Iqbal Wadhawan passes away

Chandigarh, Nov 14 (UNI) Renowned educationist Iqbal Chand Wadhawan died of heart attack this morning.

Wadhawan, 87, had served in the various capacities in the Haryana educational services. He was Director State Council of Educational Research and Training in Haryana Government.

During his tenure in the service in the Education Department, Haryana had launched a number of schemes for the educational reforms and improvement in the school education. Wadhawan is survived by six sons and two daughters in the family.
