Haryana promotes tourism at the Trade Fair

Chandigarh, Nov 14 (UNI) Haryana Tourism is projecting its prime locations at the Indian International Trade Fair (IIFT) at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.

Haryana Tourism has showcased the infrastructure available with it in the NCR Region including the haven for migratory birds at Sultanpur Lake and Surajkund Crafts Mela and Convention Centre at Hotel Rajhans.

Haryana Tourism has been projected as pioneer in Golf Tourism and Farm Tourism besides showcasing the Panipat-Kurukshetra-Pinjore tourist circuit and Adventure Tourism.

With the Heritage Site tag for the Kalka-Shimla railway track, the Yadavindra Gardens, Pinjore is projected as the place for the tourists from all over India and abroad.

A Food Stall has also been set up in Haryana Pavilion where traditional Haryanvi cuisines like saag-makki-ki-roti, bajra-ki-roti, kadhi-chawal, shakkar with deshi ghee, curd and lassi etc would be served to the visitors.

The Morni and Tikkar Taal have been promoted as eco-tourism hill destinations away from the hustle and bustle of the cities.

Thirty one Farm Houses have been identified and registered in the State for promotion of Farm Tourism.
