Gang of temple burglars busted, three arrested
New Delhi, Nov 14 (UNI) The Delhi Police have busted a gang of burglars, who committed burglaries in temples here, with arrest of three people involved in a roberry at the Sanathan Dharam temple in North Delhi.
The police recovered from Mahender Singh, Kulwant Singh and Manish Kumar three idols of godesses, besides gold and silver ornaments of the deities.
The three were arrested from Udham Singh Nagar in Uttarakhand by a team of the Delhi Police, which had gone there.
Investigation revealed that Mahinder Singh and Kulwant have been committing such burglaries for a long time. Mahinder was earlier involved in a burglary in a Gurudwara in Greater Kailash II.
