4 Bangladeshis arrested in Tripura

Agartala, Nov 14: A local court in North Tripura has sent four Bangladeshi youths to five days' police custody.

The youths entered the border town of Dharmanagar apparently seeking a job.

Police said the accused were detained on Wednesday on charge of suspicious movement while another accomplice had managed to escape.

The arrested were identified as Nur Mahbub, Mohammed Hannan, Abdul Hasan and Hasan Ahmed, all in their twenties.

During interrogation, they admitted entering Indian territory looking for job and planning to go to Delhi via Guwahati by train.

Police produced them before the sub-divisional magistrate yesterday and the Court sent them to five days' police custody.
