Dhumal for declaring Pandrah-Beesh area as ST area

Shimla, Nov 14 (UNI) The Himachal Pradesh Government would be reiterating vigorously the matter relating to declaration of Pandrah-Beesh area as scheduled tribe area keeping in view the difficult geophysical conditions prevalent in the area, Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal said.

The Chief Minister was speaking at the closing ceremony of the week long Lavi Fair at Rampur Bushehar today.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that the state government would explore the possibility to provide taxi service to the students from far-off areas to reach their schools daily.

The Chief Minister congratulated the organisers for successful organisation of the Lavi fair by upholding the traditional gaiety and fervour of the fair.
