Bullion market opens with mixed trend
Mumbai, Nov 14: A mixed trend was observed in the precious metals on Friday, Nov 14 with silver easing by Rs 185 per kg and gold recovering by Rs 90 per ten gm, from their last finish, traders in the Bombay Bullion Association said. The white metal opened at Rs 16,745 on lack of demand, while the yellow commenced at Rs 11,815 per ten gm following improved demand by industrial users.
London market witnessed similar trend, as gold was quoted at USD 731.00/732.50 (715.00/716.25) per troy ounce, while silver was quoted at USD 09.35/09.36 (09.43/09.44) per troy ounce. Following are the spot silver and gold closing prices: Silver (per kg) .999 grade: Rs 16,745 Gold (per 10 gm): Standard mint 99.5 purity: Rs 11,815 Pure gold 99.9 purity: Rs 11,875.
