Kalam to inaugurate National seminar on Aerospace Technologies
Chandigarh, Nov 13 (UNI) A two-day national seminar on recent advances in aerospace technologies, maintenance and optimisation will be held here from tomorrow.
The seminar 'AEROTECH 2008' is being organised by Aeronautical Society of India (ASIO), Chandigarh Branch in association with Terminal Ballistics Research Laboratory (TBRL), 3BRD Air Force, Central Scientific Instruments Organisation (CSIO) and SASE, Chandigarh. Former President Dr A P J Abdul Kalam will inaugurate the seminar.
ASIO Chairman Satish Kumar told mediapersons here today that more than 300 engineers and scientists from DRDO, ISRO, DAE, IAF, CSIR and other academic institutions and industries would deliberate over more than 50 technical papers.
The meet will provide an open forum for people involved in aerospace technologies and business to exchange their views, ideas, experiences on the latest technologies and strategies with a focus on future expansion of aero industry in northern India, Mr Kumar added.
