Heavy rains likely in Andaman, Nicobar islands

Pune, Nov 13 (UNI) Heavy rains are likely to occur and at most places in Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

Rain or snow are likely to occur at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir. Rain or thundershowers are likely to occure at few places in coastal Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Lakshadweep and at isolated places in south coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalseema, interior Tamil Nadu and south interior Karnataka.

Mainly dry weather is likely to prevail in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Telangana and coastal and north interior Karnataka.

Heavy rains have occurred at most places in Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Rain or thundershowers have occurred at few places in Kerala and isolated places in Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim and Tamil Nadu.

Mainly dry weather prevailed in Gujarat, Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Lakshadweep.

Night temperature was appreciably to markedly below normal at isolated places in Rayalseema and below normal in some parts of Assam, Meghalaya and south interior Karnataka. It was appreciably to markedly above normal in Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, east Madhya Pradesh, some parts of Uttar Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Rajasthan, west Madhya Pradesh, Saurashtra, Kutch, Marathwada, Vidarbha and above normal in some parts of West Bengal, Sikkim, interior Orissa, Jharkhand, Bihar and Chattisgarh. It was normal in rest of the country.
