Cong-NCP to organise public meet on Rashtriya Ekatmata Divas

Mumbai, Nov 13 (UNI) With the declaration of the Congress-NCP alliance for the upcoming elections, Union Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar and state Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh will be seen sharing the dais at a public meeting here tomorrow.

The meeting has been organised on the occasion of ''Rashtriya Ekatmata Divas'', which coincides with birth anniversary of former prime minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, Mumbai Regional Congress Committee president Kripashnakar Singh told newspersons here today.

All the bigwigs of both the parties, including Maharashtra Congress unit chief Manikrao Thakare, election campaign committee chief Gurudas Kamat, will be present at the meet, to be held in the Dr Ambedkar Garden at Govandi in Northeast Mumbai, he added.
