4 of family found dead in Mumbai
Sultanpur, Nov 13 (UNI) Four members of a family, including two minor girls, were found murdered under suspicious circumstances in Mumbai.
As soon as the news of the mass murder broke, it casted a pall of gloom in the native district of the deceased. The crime was allegedly committed on the intervening night of Tuesday-Wednesday.
The family belonged to Saimai village in Gauriganj area here, but was in Mumbai for long to eke out a livelihood, police said today.
The deceased were identified as Kallu (40), his wife Phoola (35), Nisha (9) and Soni (8).
Kallu's young son Jeetendra, who providentially escaped, alleged that his family had died in an attack by the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) activists in Mumbai.
The district administration has, however, ruled out any involvement of the MNS activists in the killings.
