TN: Two killed, three injured in road accident

Kancheepuram, Nov 12: Two people were killed and three injured when the Tata Sumo car in which they were travelling rammed against a parked lorry at Sricauverypakkam, near JJ nagar about 15 km from here in the wee hours of today.

According to police, Venkatesan died on the spot while his friend Annamalai, both aged 21, succumbed to injuries at the Government hospital here, where the three injured were admitted.

The car driver was arrested, police said.
