Mumbai, Nov 12 (UNI) Shree Shubham Logistics Limited (SSLL), a subsidiary of the Kalpataru Group, has forayed into warehousing and agriculture logistic parks at various strategic locations in Western India, with the first dry warehouse coming up at Unjha in Gujarat.
SSLL was incorporated in January 2007 and aims to have a pan- India presence offering end-to-end logistics solutions.
Right from its inception, SSLL has been committed towards the development of the infrastructure sector in northern and western regions of the country. The company was formed to serve the needs of agricultural commodity storage in warehouses across major markets like Rajasthan, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra.
The SSLL's key objective is to develop multi-function facility catering to warehousing, cold storage, processing units, auction yard, weigh bridges and other support amenities.
Company's director and founder member Aditya Bafna, in a release here today, said ''Our warehouses will be operated as per standard processes laid down by our experienced and expert team in order to provide uniform and transparent class of service, offering our customers the best global-standard practices.
Meanwhile, Kalpataru Power Transmission Limited executive director Manish Mohnot said ''We, at Kalpataru, are pleased to announce the launch of this unique Agro-Logistic Park. This step is part of our company's strategic diversification plans in the agri-logistics and three PL sector.'' SSLL is developing over 40 global standard Agri Logistics Parks across India, which will serve the country's farmer and trader community, providing them high service standards and quality infrastructure.
This step was taken keeping in mind the great demand and need of good quality storage facilities along with a single window service concepts.
