One woman dies, eight houses burnt in fire incident

Kendrapara, Nov 12 (UNI) A woman was burnt to death and eight thatched houses reduced to ashes last night when a fire broke out at Taras village in Kendrapara district.

Police identified the deceased as Pramila Nayak.

According to police, the fire spread from the kitchen of the deceased.

Pramila was first rushed to Kendrapara District Head Quarter Hospital and was shifted to SCB Medical College and Hospital, Cuttack, after her condition deteriorated. But she succumbed to her injuries in the hospital .
