One killed in clash in AP village

Vijayawada, Nov 12: One person was killed and another seriously injured in a clash at Bathinapadu mandal in Krishna district of Andhra Pradesh late last night.

Police said the clash took place due to old enmity between the family of deceased Kama Biksham (38) with one Sunkar.

When Sunkar group attacked the family members of Biksham, he resisted it. In the clash Biksham was seriously injured when the rival group hit him with an axe.

Biksham was immediately rushed to the Nandigam government hospital where he succumbed to injuries.

The condition of another person injured in the clash and admitted to the government hospital here was stated to be critical, police said.
