Kumawat gets extension as Special Sec. (Internal Security)
New Delhi, Nov 12 (UNI) In a bid to set at rest speculation about appointment of a new Special Secretary, the Home Ministry today clarified that present incumbent M L Kumawat, who is also Director General of BSF, has been given a three-month extension till January 31, 2009.
Mr Kumawat has been granted extension of three months from November 1 and he would hold the dual charge till a new Special Secretary (Internal Security) was appointed, official sources said here.
