Winter session of Bihar assembly from December 2

Patna, Nov 11 (UNI) Short winter session of Bihar legislature will begin from December 2.

A decision to this effect was taken by the state cabinet in its meeting tonight.

Official sources said five sittings of both the houses of the legislature would be held during the session and supplementary budget would be presented.

''It would be 10th session of 14th Bihar Assembly while 160th of Bihar Legislative Council'', sources added.

''The cabinet also sanctioned Rs 50 Crores for acquisition of land for the proposed IIT in Patna and Rs 10 Crores for acquiring the land for National Institute of Technology'', sources said adding a comprehensive policy to rehabilitate the flood victims in Kosi region was also approved.
