Suspended BDO arrested in Hazaribagh

Hazaribagh, Nov 11 (UNI) Police arrested the suspended BDO of Churchu block in the district last night, sources said today.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Naushad Alam said the BDO was charged with financial irregularities in the implementation of National Rural Employment Gurantee Scheme.

'' On July 2, one Tapas Soren committed suicide accusing the BDO of induldging in corruption'', Mr Alam added.

A case in this regard was also lodged in Charhi police station and the vigilance department in the state capital against the BDO.
