Siemens Ltd bags Rs 175.6 cr contract from SAIL
New Delhi, Nov 11 (UNI) Siemens ltd today said its industrial sector divison has bagged Rs 175.60 crore orders from state-run Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL) for expansion and modernisation of Bokaro Steel Plant in Jharkhand.
''This turnkey project will provide extra high voltage power distribution package for the captive power plant at the Bokaro steel facility,'' it said in a statement.
The scope of work includes design, supply, civil work, erection, testing and comissioning of 220 KV and 132 KV switchyards, which will connect 26 km of 132 KV transmission lines and plant wide substation automation system.
