Raje offers prayers at Goddess Padmavathi temple

Tirupati, Nov 11 (UNI) Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje along with her family members, who arrived here for her two-day pilgrimage yesterday, offered prayers at the Goddess Padmavathi Ammavari temple in Tiruchanur, near here, today.

The Chief Minister was accorded a traditional welcome by Tiruchanur temple Deputy Executive Officer Chengal Rayulu and after darshan, she was presented Ammavari prasadam and portrait by temple officials.

Earlier, in the morning, Raje also participated in the morning rituals in Tirumala temple.

After winding up her two-day visit, Ms Raje, who is contesting in the December 4 Assembly elections, left for Rajasthan by special flight from Renigunta airport.
