President arrives on a two-day visit to Karnataka

Bangalore, Nov 11 (UNI) President Pratibha Devisingh Patil arrived here tonight by special aircraft on a two-day visit to Karnataka.

Ms Patil was received at the HAL airport by Governor Rameshwar Thakur and top officials.

The President, after overnight halt at the Raj Bhavan, would present Award of Presidential Standard to 59 Squadron, and President's Colours to Air Force Technical College (AFTC) tomorrow.

Ms Patil was scheduled to leave for New Delhi at 1245 hrs tomorrow.
