Noted film cameraman V S R Swamy passes away

Machilipantam, Nov 11 (UNI) Well-known cinematographer and producer V S R Swamy passed away in this port town here today.

He was 64. He is survived by his wife one son and two daughters.

Swamy had come here from Chennai to attend a marriage function and died in the lodge, where he was staying.

Born in Valliwartipadu in Gudivada Mandal in Krishna district, he had settled in Chennai due to his busy work schedule there.

He had photographed many Telugu blockbuster movies, including ''Alluri Sitarama Raju'' and was also a producer of some films, including Matinee idol N T Rama Rao's 'Yedurita'.

His body was taken to Chennai where the last rites would be performed tomorrow, family sources said.
